If enacted, the bill from the House of Representatives would take away the health care of millions of Americans, add $3 trillion to the budget deficit, and make the wealthiest people in the U.S. richer and the poorest people poorer.

The Trump Administration’s deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia by mistake and in defiance of federal courts should concern all of us. This is not rule of law! If the deportation is allowed to stand, the Administration could do the same to anyone regardless of citizenship or immigration status.
