I need to walk regularly for a lot of health-related reasons, some medically essential. My left foot periodically stops being weight bearing for no good reason, and my right shoulder is so fucked that nothing but walking is even possible atm.

I promise you, trans people have existed throughout human history. We have the records; we have the stories; and shameful as it is to use this as a marker, we have the slurs. Humans are GREAT at slurs, but we usually develop them because they have targets. If the slurs exist, so do the people.
