in AMERICA, yes. also, americans tend to be more skilled while they are being replaced with h-1b who are effectively scabs. this is a problem.

if you think this has to do with a talent shortage then you probably dont have a degree, a decade of experience, up to date knowledge, and an obsession with ai all while being unable to find a job yet seeing endless less skilled h-1bs shipped into this country.

Well if the NYT says it, it must be false. I certainly hold very negative views of Indians and that's not just because they are happily being used as scabs to take jobs from American works using the insulting lie that we don't have American's with muh' skills.
