We’ve all collectively stopped giving a shit what Quentin Tarantino has to say on any topic, surely. Right?

Winona Ryder really is the best of us.

The world is a shit show. I’m escaping into music for my own sanity. Just want to express how criminally underrated and forgotten the band Tar is. Particularly their records Over and Out and Toast. Give them a listen.

Melt Banana and Deaf Club were phenomenal last night. Why is it that the kindest and most respectful people are always the ones who make the most violent and abrasive music?

There’s a band I used to be a huge fan of. I stopped listening to them and talking about them when I found out the man behind the band was a piece of shit abuser. I won’t name them here because fuck them, but he was just convicted for domestic battery. Good riddance.

If we could find a way to redefine masculinity from this Rogan bullshit to what’s portrayed in Ted lasso, I think a lot of the problems in the world would go away.

Les Claypool and John Hodgman are slowly morphing into each other.

The weather’s changing. It’s the time of year that I bring out the nostalgic sounding records like City Fallen Leaves, The New Fellas, and Teenage Snuff Film.

Almost everything broken in America right now can directly be traced back to Reagan. Fuck that piece of shit.

I miss The Woolen Men and Hurry Up. The Portland music scene isn’t the same without them.

I think that, for me, Kraftwerk’s album The Man Machine is the best music to listen to on a flight.

This is your reminder that music is an art form, not a sport. It is never about who is better or more skilled. It’s about who reaches you with their work.

Y’all I stood on stage tonight in the same place I’ve seen Bob Weston stand with Shellac so many times. Such a deep honor to play at my favorite venue in Portland. A memory I will hold on to forever. I have an immense love for this space and so many great memories there.

There are few records more comforting for my to listen to and sing along with than Paul Baribeau’s album Grand Ledge.

Good riddance to that piece of shit target ceo Brian Cornell. May he be blacklisted from ever running another company for his bigoted practices.

Watching the 4k scan of Paris,Texas that came out last year. It looks incredible. I watch this film about once a year and I keep finding new things in it as I grow.

Tears for fears vocals always sound like they just are a peanut butter sandwich with nothing to drink.

When the media and clowns in power try to vilify any nation, I think it’s important to look at the art its people create. It’s reminder that we are all just human beings. Borders are a construct. This would be a great time to watch A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. A beautiful Iranian vampire film.

Breakups just get more complicated as I get older. It’s not just heartbreak anymore. It’s finding a place to live, getting our phones off the same plan, deciding who keeps the bed, and the couch. Splitting up the cats who are best friends is bumming me out. This is a lot.

We can all agree that Bernard Sumner is the worst part of New Order right? Can I get some instrumental music that is just Hooky, Gillian, and Stephan?

If history teaches us one thing
Never trust a man who would be king
Who seeks all power for himself
To burnish his prestige and wealth

A nation born in revolution
Should know this offers no solution
For there can be no liberty
Where one man rules with impunity

Just a reminder that Tom Cruise profits from slave labor of trafficked humans and Shelly Miscavige hasn’t been seen in public since 2007. The next time you pick what movie to watch, maybe consider if it’s going to support a dangerous cult that is profiting on the subjugation of its members.
