There’s a band I used to be a huge fan of. I stopped listening to them and talking about them when I found out the man behind the band was a piece of shit abuser. I won’t name them here because fuck them, but he was just convicted for domestic battery. Good riddance.

If we could find a way to redefine masculinity from this Rogan bullshit to what’s portrayed in Ted lasso, I think a lot of the problems in the world would go away.

Y’all I stood on stage tonight in the same place I’ve seen Bob Weston stand with Shellac so many times. Such a deep honor to play at my favorite venue in Portland. A memory I will hold on to forever. I have an immense love for this space and so many great memories there.

Watching the 4k scan of Paris,Texas that came out last year. It looks incredible. I watch this film about once a year and I keep finding new things in it as I grow.

When the media and clowns in power try to vilify any nation, I think it’s important to look at the art its people create. It’s reminder that we are all just human beings. Borders are a construct. This would be a great time to watch A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. A beautiful Iranian vampire film.

Breakups just get more complicated as I get older. It’s not just heartbreak anymore. It’s finding a place to live, getting our phones off the same plan, deciding who keeps the bed, and the couch. Splitting up the cats who are best friends is bumming me out. This is a lot.
