It's here! I've long appreciated @newenglandreview.bsky.social's literary reportage and am overjoyed to be included in its latest edition. Traveling from Co. Kerry to Hong Kong to Rhode Island, this essay found its dream home in a special folio celebrating the 30th anniversary of Chungking Express.

It's here! I've long appreciated @newenglandreview.bsky.social's literary reportage and am overjoyed to be included in its latest edition. Traveling from Co. Kerry to Hong Kong to Rhode Island, this essay found its dream home in a special folio celebrating the 30th anniversary of Chungking Express.
Over the past couple of years, The Madrigal and The Martello have jointly published An Áitiúil, an anthology exploring "the local" in its many forms. Honored to have a photo featured in Vol. II — and now two more coming out this week, in the third and final Vol. III.
