Apparently Trump is planning to divert tariff revenue to a new 'Sovereign Wealth Fund' that will fund projects he deems important. It is unconstitutional at best and daylight robbery at worst.
No doubt he and his cronies will benefit while we all pay more.

Frankly I have no idea if the reduction in the federal workforce is justified. But there is a way to investigate and deal with that and the vilification of loyal, clearly talented, good Americans is not the way.

Taking sand from the edge of the channel just makes the channel wide, not deeper and slows down the flow of water thus making the sluicing action of tidal currents less effective. Use rock to narrow the channel to the minimum width required for navigation. Use the tidal ponds upstream to sluice!
