I might have to wait on this episode. I’m still on DQI. I’m the crazy guy doing it on Draconian mode. Definitely taking more than 10-12hr (plus daily life stuff)! 😅

My sentiments, too. It’s exciting for his cameo, but seems redundant for him to fight with Aira in the party. Honestly, I’m more bummed that SE decided to spoil this now. The original shock of Kiefer leaving and his final letter was so memorable to me. SE should’ve kept this a secret also.

That’s always been my impression of their argument, but perhaps they’re less observant than I thought.

My absolute biggest gripe with this game is all the different types of currency transactions. This is undoubtedly intentional, perhaps to confuse players into spending more real dollars on in-game currency. Here’s a list as best as I can tell thus far…

So after playing this game for 6 days I can say that I have enjoyed it, but don’t feel all that compelled to play the official release. I like the “rogue” gameplay system well enough, but aside from getting addicted to item swapping there isn’t much to bring me back.

I saw that on Reddit! Thanks for confirming, though. I’m in favor of leaving the original story intact (although I know there are “significant” changes). Part of me would like to see a surprise, but I’m also the biased elitist who thinks PS1 VII was perfect as is.
