unfortunately how ysayle's death was treated after in favour of other characters who have died is what is frustrating because her sacrifice or character is never held in the same regard as popular male characters...hw and shb nostalgia is so exhausting for those reasons 😔

BUT i wish overall the treatment & longevity of female characters was better. yugiri a worse case bc she didn't even die but wasn't allowed to do anything in it except that part in stb where her emotional journey was a major focus of the propelling it forward for 1/3rd of it. or shb yshtola

i am a ysayle lover but tbh i actually think it does suit her character to die like that. the downside is no one is ever nice enough to respect my thoughts on it lmao, i like seeing characters die in fitting ways for their personality/arc but people just say liking ysayle's death = misogyny
