Ehhhh
Fair enough, I’m full of negative feedback just from looking at this route map. This is an abomination and Council should be ashamed that the transit commission has been left in an underfunded position where this is the best it can do.

I don’t think the OP was saying to avoid Fox 40 whistles entirely, only to avoid buying them from Uline. Fox 40 is a Canadian company and their subsidiary Tri-Foxco distributes the whistles in the USA. It’s still run by Ron Foxcroft, who is definitely not MAGA:

I don’t think the Jesuits would be pleased to be wielded in the ethicist’s argument like that either, considering that the Superior General’s position is that an immigration policy that exploits migrant labour is unjust regardless of the methods used. www.americamagazine.org/faith/2025/0...

338’s projection says that there’s a 12% chance of a result that gives an LPC minority that can get a majority via the NDP. LPC+BQ is more likely but not drastically so.

I saw that it has “modular customization” and choose to believe that that should include the ability to insert an arbitrary number of body modules like a Great Lakes freighter.

It would make more sense as a Sherman Firefly (the superior, British Sherman), although the longer barrel is probably impractical for teapot purposes.

Reminds me of this quote, from Winston Churchill of all people, discussing the societal cost of landowners profiting from the speculative value of undeveloped land that is made more valuable entirely through other peoples’ efforts.

The more useful part of this section is the “or otherwise”, which would be better served by allocating those resources to a separate civil defence/disaster recovery organization like the German THW.

The third thing he proposed, expanding the Reserves, is militarily futile if he seriously expects the second thing to ever be needed; the CAF would cease to exist in a few days in the sort of conflict where partisan groups would be relevant.
