I found a very hungry Black-crowned night heron. Took him about 20 minutes to swallow this fish.

This Cooper's Hawk was perched on our tree looking for a warm meal. Except he scared of all of the little birds when he landed.

A few weeks back, we had several days of clouds and an inversion layer. When I finally got out of the house for a walk, I was happy to capture a photo of how blue the sky was for being gray for so long.

Western Bluebirds are so stunning, especially in the snow. I look forward to their arrival every year in Idaho. Some folks have seen them already, I haven't. This picture was taken last year at this time.

This sweet little Yellow-rumped Warbler just sat there and posed for me, for at least 10 seconds. Must be a record for these busy bodies. 😊
