You’re right, it probably would be a club decision for the reasons you suggest. For me, undoubtedly, a wrong decision especially at the price being quoted and his true value to the club. Took hours to get to sleep worrying about this one - first time ever for me!

I’m glad it’s not just me. He doesn’t seem the type to have his head turned by the money when he’s already on a such a huge wage. He seems genuinely committed to the club. Hope we don’t look like idiots together 🙏

Hopefully Chelsea will think twice before sending him back 🤞
