Stitch definition is as much about how the yarn is spun as it is about quality or the type of wool. Wool can be spun woollen or worsted - woollen will give you an airy fluffy yarn, while worsted gives a tight smooth yarn with excellent stitch definition. Ply matters too.

It’s a crazy sett of 60epi (double weave). The warp is superfine tapestry yarn, my handspun wasn’t fine enough. I had to pick colours that aren’t in the tapestry I’m currently weaving - but I do love orange and blue combinations 😊
