Talked to some protesters at length-- they told me they came out expecting impeachment to fail but that it was important to come out anyways and put pressure on the legislature. "See you next weekend, you bastards," one said.

I'm at the National Assembly building. The army is here. And I just saw two soldiers in fatigues getting pushed around by belligerent ajusshis. and they looked legit scared.

We are currently living in Seoul. Watching the unified, swift response to the President’s attempt to enact martial law is super inspiring. However the reason that we are not still under martial law is because the people who could stop it were both PREPARED to respond and WILLING to do so.
