Our friends in Catford had a speed problem in their street. Council did nothing. So some bright spark put up a fake speed camera. Pretty convincing and it worked.

Council removed it within 48 hours because it "could be dangerous". Speeding is dangerous. Funny how inaction leads to swift action […]

A reward of £20k has been offered for information on the murder of Curtis Green who was shot a year ago in Wells Park on November 10, 2024 at around 10am in the morning.

The shooting took place after a party at a property in Hensford Gardens the night before.

Did you know that The Bell at Bell Green was an Asset of Community Value? No, neither did I. It means it can't be sold without first being offered to community groups. Put on the Lewisham register by the Sydenham Society who have also added the Perry Hill although it isn't in Sydenham.
