We have short/sticky rice, jasmine was a mis-communication. Too much fried spam will give me acid reflux (duh), which oddly did not manifest until this AM. Added/side veg = lower spam consumption.

Dogs always happy to have leftover rice w/their dinner. 🙂

Yes, delicious! Yes, joy! Also driven to try again with proper rice, nori, and low-sodium spam (husband says too salty). 😁

So getting nori means ordering a lot of it. So seaweed snack sheets have no real structural integrity when hot with warm moist stuff. But I did get the spam crispy, but since you can’t pick them up to eat out of hand, eating them with a fork is a mess. I think the seaweed is also salted, so v salty

Now our IT guy has taken over my work computer and is attempting a fix. I like our IT guy, we have similar senses of humor and snark levels. He doesn't know HEC-RAS, but concurs that I have probably broken the software, not just a particular data file.

I got the latest flu and covid vaccines a couple weeks ago, also flattened; same for spouse a week or two prior to me. We assumed it was from getting them the same day, maybe not.

Our big pups are getting better with the cats (who won’t give the pups the swats they deserve). Loki and Lúthien have been sharing a sunbeam fairly regularly. One of these days I’ll get a picture of them together.

I went to Ireland with my Grandparents around ?1977? For some reason I cannot fathom we went to Derry for a couple-few hours. Kid-me was unsettled, adult-me woulda noped right the feck outta there.

Dracos’ Mom had planned surgery yesterday, so Dracos and Thord are in MI with her. Not that she needs Thord, but Dracos figured both big babies would be more than I could cope with. Especially with T-or-T-ing tonight and a trunk show tomorrow. @knittingkitten.bsky.social is coming to help w/that.
