At least I have law enforcement looking for me... and drugs

There was another one of these a few years back that resulted in the cancellation of Danielle’s first Ironman race. The morning of the race there was sideways rain, logs on the swim course, and downed trees.

We are looking for a home for this sweet girl. We rescued her from a pound right before she was to be put down. She’s not good with other pets, but otherwise she’s an amazing, intelligent, and sweet dog. If you know of somebody who might offer a permanent or temporary home let me know

Our rescue was purported to be a Catahoula. A DNA test showed that she was mostly pitbull. She’s smart, playful, and a total goofball. There is no shame in having one of these great dogs.

Day 5 and 6 of heart healthy eating. Egg white veggie omelette, peanut butter on whole oat bread, stir fry veggies, lots of carrots and snap peas with hummus, mixed fruit and apple slices, nuts, and tonight a poke bowl with avocado. Down 6 lbs and alarmingly regular 😂😂

First day of my heart healthy diet. Roasted vegetable soup with sweet potatoes for dessert. Lord give me strength

Padres time!

I am not a fan of the beach at all, but my wife wanted to come spend a couple hours with friends before the crowds. Happy Labor Day everybody.

One more thing. My wife and I love to travel. Usually it’s for a triathlon or a marathon or some other race, but we recently vacation in the Caribbean and also visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. As always, expect pictures.😀

I will also post a lot about sports. Real sports, fantasy sports, but especially the pain and suffering of being a Padres season ticket holder.
