Black people aren’t silent because we don’t care about No Kings Day or immigration injustice. We’re silent because we know what happens when we speak out. History has shown us: protest too boldly and you risk harm, arrest, or even death.

How did we get here #4: Single issue voting. Running a country is very complex with many moving parts. Where one issue may be critically important to a section of the electorate, the country at large could be negatively affected. lAddressing the needs of all is inclusive of the need of a few.
