The platforms aren't making it particularly enjoyable. Shoving unrequested and ads, people consumed with whatever the latest nonsense is, difficulty in having serious and meaningful conversations, trolls and bots and trollbots. It causes & contributes to the general division in cultures.

Now I have to watch that again

I'll probably watch because it's more than the work of one person, but it's hard to separate it and I'll be scrutinizing everything in ways I wouldn't be otherwise.

My neck fan has been a lifesaver this year, even inside. Tourists still forget that being outside in San Diego for hours will dehydrate or burn you on the bright concrete.

It's OK, we've had a few donations and lots of interest from previous attendees. Thankfully it's less than blast oven hot outside so it's only warm in here. Typical zoo at the con on Saturday.

This whole saga deserves its own movie with each participant's point of view, it's Acme Rashomon.
