🔎 The lack of research and monitoring on the Mexican side has hindered an objective assessment of current and projected erosion risks along the coastline. In the U.S., there is a stronger emphasis on generating and making relevant information accessible on these issues.

Anyone who’s strolled the #LaJolla shoreline in the past few weeks might have noticed some new residents! 🦭 That’s right—baby harbor seals are back! 🥹

There are currently about 24 pups at #ChildrensPool. As cute as they are clumsy, it’s definitely worth a trip to say hi from a safe distance.
