I grabbed some photos from when I used to see some of my own things. The dress is Simplicity 8640 and the jacket is the Nenuphar from Doe & Deer (I believe now with Closet Core). Dresses are linen, jacket is mystery dead stock with dead stock appliqué.

It is but I can’t seem to find the time to sew. I’m going to try to set the other stuff aside this weekend and do it. In the drawer of Indy patterns I use plastic envelopes for larger patterns. I use plastic document folders for cut patterns (kept in a box).

Finally got a berried one (tangerine tiger). We will see if I’ve managed to get them actually breeding with surviving shrimplets. I had a good colony a few years ago but this one is taking some time to get going.

This is the artemisia californica that I keep like an ornamental in my container garden because it smells like hiking in the canyons. It’s usually that brown all over. The green means it’s spring in California.

This is the girl and her cat. He is only about 9 months old. No I don’t know what she is feeding him. He was found as a stray kitten by a friend of a friend.

I found both books of the omnibus used online. The first book will be here tomorrow. Now I’m going to be pretty far over a reasonable number of unread books.

Today someone asked me if I collect anything and I told him I collect vintage figurines like in a grandma’s house. I didn’t tell him that I’m drawn to the faintly creepy ones, like this bunny with backwards ears signed, “Kathy ‘87 for Jenni.”
