Today, we saw a turkey crossing the road. It blocked our path and just sat there, so I opened the car door and shooed it over to the side of the road where it pooed as we drove past. Feels like a potential metaphor for Trumpy Dumpy. Would that the hatefulness could all be shooed away so swiftly.

Obsessed with this Rhino Iguana at the Newport Aquarium. I just learned her name is Persephone and now I love her more. Watched her chase a cube of what looked like squash for awhile. Gotta get the best bits of the salad, girl!

I just read about the new speaker of the house, Mike Johnson, and his whole vibe makes him the poster manchild for whatever the top MRA group is. Or maybe the top MRA group is the Republican party. It's so hard to keep track these days.
