I was talking today to some friends who are retired fire captains and they said they knew immediately the Hollywood Hills fire was intentional. It’s hard to imagine being so gd evil. Just gobsmacking.

The smoke from the wildfires near me a few years ago were gobsmackingly horrendous and I don’t think it was as bad as LA right now. There was a wildfire in NorCal recently that affected people 40+ miles away. I always have at least 2 air purifiers running constantly and always have eyedrops on hand.

$9/hr coders? Yikes! The minimum wage in CA and WA are both over $16/hr. I’m sure they could get a-list coders for $9, right? It’s not like airplanes require solid coding. 😬

My brother was working at that event. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. It seems like rando crap happens at these events every year. I’m sure that’s not actually true, but it feels like it.

If they voted for Trump and any republican down ticket, this is exactly what they voted for. Hell, anyone who voted for a republican after 1964 voted for this. They’ve campaigned on this promise for decades.

Excellent! It is such a beautiful area of the country. I’ve really been enjoying shows like Longmire and Dark Winds that feature not only the landscape but Native American life as well. I’ll have to check out the Longmire books.

We had a Sony tv that you could fine tune each station. For a little while we could fine tune into HBO and Showtime. My sister was a 411 operator for a bit. Definitely part of the missing link generation. 😂
