I found a junior gunners notepad a week or two back with David o'learys autograph in it, im guessing the mid 80s ( it had charlie nicholas on the next page ), it feels like it was only about 10 years ago! Then you realise 10 years ago was 2015!!!

Actually, i would also push back a little on the talent thing, todays players are superb athlete's,coached to a inch of their lives, with tech helping at every stage. They have absolutely mastered the game, but how many teams would you say are full of flair, individual talent, verve..

I agree, but they do it to stay up and maybe get a cup run, or 3rd choice european runs, not to push for the league

Really? Villa/spurs/united have the same squad depth, money and so on as arsenal city and liverpool? Or the botttom 10 or so are ever gonna break into even that group? Spurs and united fucked up last year, look at the money they are dropping now, do you see brighton/ palace/west ham doing that?

Also, hes entitled to his opinion on the club, he definitely earned it.

When adams was captain, teams were closer to eachother in terms of skill and value, there was not such a disconnect between top 6 and the rest. Also points are great,winning stuff is definitely a better feeling.

Higher points really means nothing more them a two(three)tier league,adams as captain was a constant winner as captain,fought and motivated others in every match even friendlies v Barnet!He wanted and won leagues,cups,doubles and a European trophy,and got all the crowd feeling like part of the team.

The league all day long.The titles I've seen over the years are the best memories ever, not just the day,but the season!I'm really not bothered by the champions league,only 2 or 3 matches that matter, the americanised pomp, meh.Give me battering spurs united and chelsea on the way to a league anyday

I absolutely believe its ukranians planning and carrying out the ops, i also wonder whats going to be next? While drone attacks keep the russians off balance, you wonder what the regulars are doing/planning? I think of the armoured push into russia last year, and whats next now summers back.

All I have is some second hand information from a few former colleagues, talk of various training exercises and so on, and the British militaries long standing practice of advisors training up and equiping local troops.
