Games like NetHack and ADOM enabled my imagination to blossom and fabricate vivid scenes of the adventurer fumbling through dungeons. Caves of Qud enhances this even further, setting the scene with amazing narrative & prose. I'm addicted...

The "run out and look over a vista/scene" at the start of video games a la Breath of the Wild... I don't think I'm tired of it yet.

Y'know, I would love a game like Skald: Against the Black Priory that was set in one mahoosive megadungeon. Finding it great so far, but for me the overworld sections are letting it down a touch!
