On the topic of names. This manhwa does some silly stuff with it. Pavlik means “humble”, and Max means “greatest”. Hira’s real name is basically just her stage name in Sanskrit. Also I always think about the Phil suffix meaning “love”….
Obviously Myeol’s dad sucks and his name was given to him as an act of misogynistic cruelty but if, say, some trans person named themselves Destruction I would think that’s awesome

Another super interesting nature/nurture thing is Myeol having someone in his life to protect him from child abuse vs Imaim fending for himself. Especially since they share a lot of values (this scene is a very clear example of parallels between them)

Phill is such a good character to examine nature vs nurture through. I do still think he’s changeable and that his current behavior is (largely) the culmination of his experiences But wow does he make it hard

So far in my experience bluesky is bad for small fandoms because my entire for you feed is the only large fandom I’m in. I think it could work if you create a feed with other fans, but bluesky is just too small right now in general…. Small fandoms on twt are nonexistent here

To be honest Phill sorta freaked me out after the most recent chapter and now I can’t look at him the same even though he’s done god awful horrible shit this entire time. He didn’t even do anything that bad this time. Comparatively. But the face he made freaked me out.
