There was a bit of history included in social studies but not a lot. We learnt about nz history, and both world wars and the history of some of the countries involved We learnt a little US history in english class when we read relevant books. Haha

My school didn't have history, we had social studies instead. You could do history as a subject once you started ncea.

If anyone is thinking of voting for Richard Osmaston of the money free party, he's a cooker and was at the Picton covid protest/occupation. He's also running for mayor in 5 locations and a few wards I think, like he has done in previous elections.

This is a good start. I'm in Richmond ward and voting for Daikee, Ellis, Maling & Neubauer at this stage. I'm hesitate to vote gor anyone wanting to cap/reduce rates and the act candidate is out because he's act. I saw a thing about candidates Māori ward opinions that I'll try find for you.
