Missed my first day of the block last week. Here’s squats from last week’s light squat day. Zercher Squat, 255 x 3. Heavy dead single this week. Having surgery on what would be the week after deload. Gonna add a 7th week to the block and do another heavy dead. Take the surgery week completely off.

W4, D2. Energy feeling great. Second heavy bench day of the block. 2RM at RPE9 with 225. Was the upper end of my goal for the day, forgot how much I get out of a lift off. Being able to setup away from the rack and keep good shoulder position makes a massive difference.

W4, D1, BW 211. Weight and energy down. 2nd Heavy squat day. 2RM at RPE 9 with 345 lbs. Zercher deads with 125 lbs (def better with flats). 1 min x 100 lbs Sand bag carry as part of my warmup. I have a carry for core on every squat/dead day.

W3, D3, BW: Forgot. Second wave of Heavy deads today. 2RM, RPE9, 405#. Tweaked my back throwing axes last night (👴🏾), so took it slow off the floor & leaned a bit more into the legs than normal. Adding in a smidge of rotational work now. Heavy singles in 2 weeks, then we do it all again from the top.

W2, D2, BW: 217.2. Heavy Bench day, 3RM at RPE 8 with 195#. Making a lot of adjustments on bench coming back with grip, elbow position and touch point. Elbows on Bambi. Honestly way too much at once but why not. Accessories led by 3 sets of 3-5 on chin to bar pull-ups. Feelin good.

W2, D1, BW 218.4#. First day of week 2. Running a 2 week split, so Heavy Squats and Bench this week. 3RM at RPE8 with 315#. Some Zercher deadlifts as accessories. Body weight feels like it’s settling with the new nutrition. Bench tomorrow.

W1, D5: Secondary/Light Squat day. Zercher squat, 2x6 at 185#, 205#. Feelin good

W1, D3, 216# BW. First ‘heavy’ day if he block. 3RM dead at RPE8 with 365#. Everything across the board is feeling better than I anticipated coming back. Had to hold back & not cook myself too soon. Want to gain 1/2# a week for 1/2 a year, running 4 6 week blocks with breaks between each.
