It was funny and I feel the same! Just checking to see if I was out of the loop on something 😅. Thanks

Yea, I haven’t found any progressive or even liberal leaning hardware stores. At best they’re giving to both D and R’s when I look at their donations. I do avoid the Green and Blue, and only go to Orange when I have to. Otherwise I go to Red.

ps. Idk why we are using code names for these places?

My children burst through the door at 6am shouting “father what did Santa bring us?”, I grin slyly, unveiling my preprinted sheets. They sit with rapt attention, faces blank with excitement. My wife rolls her eyes in anticipation.

I clear my throat,

“Back in 2017…”

Oh no I got a mimic!

Oh hilarious, I thought this was hyperbole but there are literally zero comments or likes on all of the posts I quickly scrolled through.

Except, their pinned post is a message welcoming people to their page and all the comments are just people telling them they’re not wanted here.

Setting aside that the singularity doesn’t exist and there’s no “AGI transition” we need to navigate, how do these people imagine existence inside the singularity? How would you prove that you as an individual will still exist after you’ve been schlorpped up by the brain processing machine?

The older rules are even free and there’s so so much content out there. It’s not like an online video game where you must play the same version as everyone else to be able to connect to the server.

It says it right there! Iran *reportedly* **could** be used to manufacture kamikaze drones. And then… fly them across the Caribbean? And attack the US? Very feasible and not something we would notice and bomb preemptively.

Thanks!

Beautiful! In Minnesota we had a pretty wet year so didn’t have to water.

What do you have to do to dry farm intentionally?

Good to know. I haven’t had to cross one on a bike yet. The ones near me are on a higher speed road off a highway which made me wonder if they’re a poor example? I never see anyone crossing there and I’m not sure if it’s because there’s just not ped/cycle traffic there or if it’s because it’s bad.

We have a few near me and while most people seem to know how to drive on them, the speed that people whip around them makes me afraid for anyone needing to cross as a pedestrian/cyclist.

If you’re not red faced and huffing about terminal velocity or the pH scale, can you really even say that you’re playing D&D 3.5?

Thank you for the encouragement. Many of us in the U.S. are very despondent about the possibility of gun reform here (self included sometimes).

Thanks! I just downloaded it and hilariously they seem to have regionalized their examples for calorie counting. Haven’t even used it yet but 10/10 for referencing hotdish to a Minnesotan.

I hear you, I think we need different words. I’m in the Twin Cities metro area and there’s a huge difference between the older “inner ring” suburbs as we call them, and the newer “outer ring”. Much of the latter are endless subdivisions, while some of the former are what I think you’re describing.

Average probably 1-2 handfuls a day (so like 1/2 a cup?). Some days there seems to be no limit. He’s getting closer to 4 years old now and the rate of blueberries consumption seems to be slowing.

We also freeze them and put them in smoothies.

I have made patches of clover and usually by the time they get too high many of the flowers are nearly done. When I do mow it down the flowers come back fairly quickly so I don’t worry too much about it.

There are also micro clover varieties that only get 4-6” tall. Good luck and happy planting!

Oh good, we’ve imported nuance-free discussion style to Bluesky. 😉

It seems like serenity is in favor of a lot of car-free measures.
