Am I mad to think about a three-column grid for an adventure module? (Awesome map from @phildyson.bsky.social - see here for more! dysonlogos.blog/maps/multi-p...) #dnd #5e

Tonight's work: a 'fungal queen' from Dungeons & Lasers. Just a base paint so far, but I'm aiming for Zuggtmoy. #dnd

I've been using this image of Castle #Ravenloft as a creative writing prompt for years. So far, none of my kids has recognized it, and this makes me sad. #5e #dnd

On the subject of Nightfang Spire: anyone know why 3rd edition adventures had different covers in pre-release material? Seems odd to commission art you have no intention of using. #dnd

Whatever happened to the MOONCALF from Heart of Nightfang Spire? Apparently they survived into 4th edition but haven't been seen 2011 or so. I think they're great. @brucecordell.bsky.social #dnd

Out of the Abyss is ten years old this week? Mad. Still never run or played it straight through. Should I? I do love demon lords and the Underdark… #5e #dnd

Oh, and the NPC? If the party cut down the coccoon too early, the NPC might die from the fall!

Too late, and... you know the rest.

I've been working on a number of these encounter ideas. Not sure why yet, but if you like them, let me know! (7/7)

Still the cutest #5e monster art in my opinion. #dnd

It's practically a meme, but have you ever actually run a 'rats in the cellar' encounter? Or is too cliché at this point?

(I just find rats too cute.)

After 18 months, I'm nearly there . . .

40,000 words.
200+ pages.

Everything you need to run a whole campaign from 1st to 20th level.

I've never written anything like this before, and I'm really proud of it. Can't wait to share it—soon!

The name 'bastard sword' was also used for them because they were 'irregular', 'of uncertain origin.' (Yeah—not great.) 'Hand-and-a-half sword' came later.

Andúril in The Lord of the Rings is a longsword. So is Longclaw in Game of Thrones. But Ice—Ned Stark's sword—is a greatsword. 2/

Do we like this art? It's almost the opposite of grimdark, isn't it? Kinda makes me sad that aasimar are now so ubiquitous that seeing one flying above a bakery is an everyday event. And oh look, a pseudodragon.

Doesn't it kind of undermine the fantasy a bit?
