Significant? Blatant theft of people's hard earned and sometimes lifelong earned intellectual property is certainly greater than significant. It's morally reprehensible.

Yeah. That's apt. Just watched a video of Catiosaurus try to use ChatGPT to help research stuff for an article. Got some great quotes with citations that looked legit 'till she discovered that the books and/or quotes didn't exist. Even with layers of prompting for real quotes.

A major difference is that the same uncritical thinker previously encountered less hallucinated "data" being presented as fact. Misinformation, sure, but not to this degree, or sold as the new wave of human progress. (Also cousin Rod's questionable websites are less ecologically destructive.)

OMG! I had that part of the track stuck in my head the other morning when I woke up. It drives me completely up a tree because it doesn't work with the rest of the track, completely discordant! One might say, a clash.

The only reason I know is we looked it up and waited for it to start to go grocery shopping.
