Finally picked up a copy. I wanted to be Galliano when I was really finding my stride with making music. The combination of rhythm, poetry, soul, jazz, something quintessentially British, inspired me so much.

I’d never heard of Maria Dolores Pradera until my wife’s uncle had me look through his record collection when we were visiting in Bogotá this year.
He insisted I take this with me as I loved it so much. We lost him just a couple of months later making this record even more special.

Saw one of my bands play their final show. Emotional, beautiful, brilliant. So much love in A38. Such a brilliant band.

Honestly one of the biggest influences on me in the last 30 years. Two Pages changed everything for me. This album includes massive nods to their own influences (Stevie cover) but Morning Child grabbed me so much. Incredible sounding record.

This album is so special to me. My CD copy of this is the first album I bought after I moved to London.
I listened to it over and over in those first few months and it broadened my horizons with UK jazz so much. I was tipped to Chris by 4Hero’s Two Pages.

Morning. This is an autumn standard for me. I’ve loved this album since it came out but I really lean into it when October and November come around.
One of the most gentle records I’ve ever known, it feels so withdrawn at times that it doesn’t want to exist. But I’m so grateful for it’s existence.
