I've done many trips across Canada, some in motels, some in a tent or rv or driven straight through taking turns driving. There are so many day use areas with picnic tables & washrooms or outhouses that if you're car sleeping, no one bothers you. Bring a cooler for sandwiches and snacks & you're off
