I know a lot of writers struggle with weaving in backstory/world-building. Like how to give just enough detail to keep readers curious without bogging down the pace. I would like to write a blog post to help! What questions do you have?

That moment when the (actual) villain of your story insists he needs a voice in the story and he's too damn charming to say no to so you start figuring out how you can squeeze them in 😒

I just watched Mystic Pizza for the first time last night on a random whim and, yes it had a couple small plot holes, but overall I really enjoyed it! The characters were unique, I laughed, the chemistry was great, and each of their stories was fulfilling to watch.

That moment when you remember your character's magic is supposed to be visible and you've written four chapters where it's not. Guess that's a problem for future me.

I'm working on a sample dev edit and it's been a beautiful challenge because the writing on a line level is so incredible that it's been hard to look past it and dig in at the story level 😅 I'm itching to get back to it this morning!
