kicking myself in the ass for not setting up git in desktop cause i fucked something up Terribly and my whole anim system broke so i gotta redo it

blessing in disguise though cause now i can make this specific part modular

this shit has been so ship of theseused that barely any of the original model i started with is even left

i need to get back to working on sanae (and i will SOON) but everything in me wants to keep chipping away at this til i have basic gameplay shit (unpolished) and a character model im happy with

wiping a tear away at the fact that i couldnt make an asset flip game even if i wanted to cause i straight up dont know ANYTHING

if i can just REALLY quickly learn enough to just get the camera working and basic movement stuff i feel like thatll be enough of a real starting point to work off of but ohhhhhhhhhh my GOD i cant even get that shit working right!!!!

doing this is kinda funny cause while i’m not FANTASTIC a lot of this shit feels pretty natural cause it’s just an advanced form of shit i did when i was younger

like modeling feels like sculpting, animating is just stop motion, and texturing is like making lbp costumes but with way more control

also i can NOT get her hair to look right and its driving me insane

this only really includes definitive times i started/stopped something, and doesnt really mention times when consistently working on something, took a break, or briefly returned to something, since that would be a HUGE task to try to pinpoint
