French in Corsica, boulangeres, or English in France? Can’t be boulangeres. Can never be too many of them.

Is Corsica still French? Send them all there. Then the rest of us can enjoy holidaying in mainland France without having to meet any French people. Except les boulongaeres. They can stay and make croissants.

You thinking things would be better if they’d elected the chimp? Hard agree.

Same here. I think telling what is basically a geopolitical story in the books is hard in a character driven medium like TV. But have to say the storyline with The Mule is pretty good. Magnifico needs to appear a bit more, but Pilou Asbæk is really good as The Mule.

It’s madness! I’d rather we didn’t have turbines, but they’re better than coal or nuclear power stations. A coal station began operating in my home town the year I was born: it was demolished last year. 50 years from now hopefully turbines will be replaced. But for now, they’re a much better option.

I was helping my father clear out cupboards and found a large pot of white powder. We both assumed it was garden stuff and ignored it. Then we both realised that it was my mother, who'd died 25 years earlier. Then we found, in the freezer, the blackberries she'd been picking when she dropped dead.

This is the one that I most envy. Dylan Moran is a genius.

My dad was in a band in the late-60’s and, when I was about 1yo, my mum took me to a gig. They were on the same bill as The Equals and Eddy Grant held me and bounced me on his knee.
