A tiny slice, a crimson bead,
A paper cut begins to bleed.
I press it closed, but veins defy,
The wound unzips—I wonder why.

A jagged tear, skin peels away,
Flesh unravels, red and grey.
No end in sight, just open skin…
A cut so deep, it pulls me in. #papercut #horror

Years drag on, my eyes stay wide,
Sleep has left, but death won’t bide.
Shadows crawl along the walls,
Whispered voices, endless calls.

Bones grow brittle, flesh decays,
Mind unravels, time betrays.
Eyelids torn but never close—
Endless waking, nightmare grows. #horror

A whisper churns in silver teeth,
A gnashing sound from down beneath.
A severed voice, a broken plea,
A thing that should not—cannot—be.

It grips, it twists, it pulls, it bites,
It feeds on flesh in dead of night.
The switch flips on—a grinding wail—
And drains run red where horrors wail.

Keys turn slow, the door swings wide,
A scent of warmth drifts from inside.
Soft humming, footsteps near,
A whispered Welcome home, my dear.

A dress hangs neat, shoes by the door,
A life he’s never known before.
His hands shake—his throat is tight,
He’s lived alone his whole damn life.

They laid me down in hollowed stone,
Sealed the lid—I was alone.
A breathless gasp, a whispered moan,
But no one heard; they all had gone.

I clawed, I screamed, I tore my skin,
The dark so tight, the air so thin.
Above, they laughed, they sang, they swayed…
While underground, I died afraid.

Soft wings dance in moonlight pale,
Trailing scents of bodies frail.
A cut, a scrape, a wound so red—
They drink where living flesh has bled.

Tiny mouths, so light, so fleet,
Lapping where the heart still beats.
You’ll never feel their silent sip…
Until your veins run dry—drip, drip. #horror #poem

A smile so bright, so warm, so wide,
But secrets fester deep inside.
Teeth like pearls, a perfect grin,
Hiding rot that lurks within.

They laugh, they joke, they shake your hand,
But darkness waits at their command.
So next time someone grins at you…
Ask yourself—what do they do? #horrorshorts

Snow blanketed the town as carolers sang outside. Sarah hung a porcelain angel on the Christmas tree. Its eyes shifted. She froze. “Mom?” her son whispered, trembling. Behind him, the angel stood life-sized, its grin wide. The carolers’ song warped. “Silent night,” it rasped. The lights flickered.

The elevator creaked as Jenna descended into the abandoned basement. Floor by floor, the dim numbers flickered until it stoppedbetween levels. She hit the emergency button, but the lights died. In the darkness, something breathed behind her. The doors began to pry open… but from the wrong side.

Lena’s phone buzzed: “Come downstairs.” She glanced at her sleeping roommate across the room. Confused, she texted back, “I’m in bed. You come up.”

Another buzz: “I’m already upstairs?”

The closet door creaked open, and a voice whispered from the dark, “I didn’t text you.” #horror #story #shorts

She slouched against the headboard, her foot dangling off the bed. Her thoughts spiraled, the void of loneliness consuming her. The room felt still, too still. Then, she felt a sudden tug on her foot. A dry, raspy whisper seeped from the dark: “You’re not alone.” The shadows seemed to move.

I watch you, follow your every move, waiting silently. My touch lingers as a shudder, a prickle on your skin, the sweat on your lip, and the chill down your spine. That’s me, closer than you think. You won’t see me until it’s too late—until you wake and realize you’ve become one of us.

As she brushed her hair, a sharp tug made her wince, and she glanced at the mirror to see a pale hand gripping the strands from inside her scalp. The voice whispered, “Stop pulling, you’re hurting me.”

I finally worked up the courage to text my crush, heart pounding as I typed, “Hey, I think you’re amazing.” Minutes later, I got a reply, “I feel the same.” My chest swelled with hope until another message followed, “But can you unchain me now and let me go?

I felt her eyes on me from across the room, unblinking and fixed, no matter where I moved. When I finally confronted her, my own reflection whispered, “You can’t escape me.

As I tucked my daughter into bed, she whispered, ‘Daddy, there’s someone under my bed,’ and when I bent down to check, I found her trembling, whispering, ‘Daddy, there’s someone in my bed.’ #horror #horrorstory #horrorfan #creepy #scary #scarystories #storytime

The hooded old woman stood at the edge of my bed, her gnarled hand extended, whispering, “Your time has come.” Before I could scream, she yanked something invisible from my chest, and I watched in silent horror as she dragged my thrashing body away, leaving me staring at the empty shell of myself.
