having 5 kids, a work remote teacher, and now looking at specialist and PhD programs to start before my 37th year of life. I’m just shy of 36…
I didn’t follow the “social timeline” it was never supposed to be that way for me… but moments like this I’m glad I survived.

to be data driven and I guarantee you the push for timed reading is killing students desire to read in and outside of the classroom. To you it’s a data point. To them it’s a source of anxiety, judgement, and always feeling like they’ll never achieve doing it well enough because the goal post
