Tbh I'm already regretting the decision to attend the funeral, but I would also feel really horrible if I missed it so I don't think there was a "good" decision among my options

Almost any time I engage with my family, I get burned. I try to keep the peace, but it's never enough.
It'd be nice if I could at least attend a family funeral and not worry about how I'm gonna get burned this time.
Esp since going home requires flying thousands of miles over the ocean 🫠
