I mean they're already kinda taking a step in that direction with BBM and ROTB having all of the bots be G1 scale soo

This and the Robosen Bee both just kinda make me imagine a live-action TF film where they grew a pair and made these the designs

It'd flop HARD because TF's reputation is just permanently in the gutter after TLK and marketing isn't a thing apparently but hey

Would be neat I think

He's especially less jobless than a certain homeless blue bum who does nothing but run around the fucking planet all the time and probably evade taxes

Why am I speaking of Shadow Generations like that game was from millions of years ago it's like barely last year

Actually that's probably because it's just a feature-length bonus game and after it the writing just went back to the way it was so far in stuff like Crossworlds or the DC crossover

So yeah uh

Ian Flynn carried Sonknux on his fucking back in Sonic Frontiers and I think that's pretty based

And I long for the day where the actual Sonic & friends that I'm a fan of finally come back in a game that has writing on par with like Sonic Unleashed or Shadow Generations

That obviously doesn't mean people should treat him like Satan or harass him off of the fucking internet that's dumb

But like

Going on the opposite extreme and saying "do Sonic fans like ANYTHING" or whatever when there's ANY kind of criticism isn't helping

I think Ian Flynn's writing deserves to be criticized so he can improve as a writer and be better

So the writing of Sonic in general can improve and be better cus we had it too good with Shadow Generations and that was a collaborative effort

That's just how stuff works

I think the Sonic community should probably stop settling for mediocrity and actually ask for better

We shouldn't just settle for like I dunno the same exact dogshit Sonic model we've had for 20 years and we shouldn't settle for mediocre writing just because it's better than what we had

Anyway that's enough being negative and kinda just regurgitating some of the stuff stuff Pariah695 has said because I really like his videos

I do really wanna read Scrapnik Island however like woah is that an actually neat use of a reference is that an actual theme and message is that Tails being Tails without having to acknowledge something that really doesn't need to be acknowledged?

I also just really fw Daniel Barnes he's cool

This is kinda the reason why I genuinely don't want to touch the IDW comics with a fifty-mile pole (also because I know damn well nothing happens in it and no traumatized lesbians or Neo Metal Sonic coming back to do absolutely nothing of note is gonna make me read it)

Please Ian actually make up an original line that's memorable you can probably do it

Just don't make it a fucking monologue how did we go from Sonic at most saying like two sentences per-line to not knowing how to shut the fuck up this guy thinks he's Optimus Prime over here

It'd be charming if it's just a little fan project but these are official media and it always just feels like "Hey, you know this thing?" and that's it

And the dialogue just referencing already iconic lines everybody knows like the back of their hand kinda just makes Ian's writing less memorable
