I think the inflammation that accompanies illness can impact how well meds work temporarily.

I tend to start researching for other treatments people are trying, it gives me hope. I do find surprising new things from other countries and other patients. I have a list of treatments and providers to work through for the long-term. I also just try to be super kind to myself.

You can see this all along Lake Champlain. People clearcut to the water and just pay the fines. Not just hideous, environmentally unsound. But i guess if you need a 5,000+ sq foot house that you use a few weekends a year, you’re not really thinking about anyone but urself.

I had both same time last year and this year. This year was notably worse.

Profound losses take time to process for sure. Situational depression related to loss is definitely a thing (speaking from experiences). I’ve taken different depression screenings, there are questions about experiencing pleasure and interest. Might be a way to explore a bit more. Wishing you well.

That’s a lot of observers 😳

People do experience it differently - something I learned just a few years ago. Sensitivity to seasonal loss of light can become more pronounced as we age too.

Hmm, for me it would fall under depression. Interested to know what turns up for others though.
