Well said, however it is possible to overcome that culture. I grew up in England under that culture but when I moved up here 44yrs ago,i saw it for what it is. What I find hard to understand is how so many native Scots can't see it.
The biggest problem is we're fighting against a culture that's been designed to discourage the idea of being independent through media, education, language, and every social construct that governs/controls/directs Scotlands society. That's a lot of hardwired programming to overcome.

It's fundamental to democracy that parliament should reflect what people vote for, not the quirks of an outdated system.
