Right! It's a fun challenge to see how much you can fit of the massive world around you into such a small poem!

I've been trying to write a poem a week for the last month, to calm my nerves. I'm going through a really stressful time right now and poetry is the best form of therapy for me! Times like these are when I write the most raw and emotional poems. Eventually I'll get back to my novel 😅

I love writing haiku! When I took my creative writing class in college we had an entire week of writing just haiku and it was so much fun. The professor had us just take some paper and go for a walk around the campus and write as many haiku as we could.
