It never crossed my mind I might be and really rejected it when it was first suggested to me. Now it’s so glaringly obvious to me I’m embarrassed!

I am the family joke for losing things, being accident prone, mixing up dates etc for YEARS (tip of the iceberg) but now I’m getting ‘ADHD is not an excuse’ and I’m like ‘but it’s an explanation??’

Got NHS diagnosed with ADHD at 47 in February. The pushback and scepticism from family members and even my partner has been really draining and I find I can’t discuss it. I also work in tv and yes, I think the industry attracts this type of thinker because where else would we thrive/survive.
