And I am a fully paid up believing Christian (which is good, as a vicar!) but as a historian recognise that people have done terrible things in the name of faith (and still do). I've been working for years an article about mediaeval miracles which is a particularly complex area!

That is precisely what my recent article in Geldgeschichtliche Nachrichten discusses - only in that case it's looking at the answers provided by ChatGPT to the question of Charlemagne's coinage reforms, which include this very same error
