In 1953, despite relocating to Washington, DC nearly two decades earlier, Justice Jackson continued to rely on Dr. Hurwitz’s care. On Thanksgiving Day that year, Dr. Hurwitz responded to a request from Justice Jackson for a prescription refill.

This Thanksgiving, the Society turns to the wisdom of Dr. Samuel Hurwitz, a trusted physician in Jamestown, NY, who cared for Justice Robert H. Jackson, one of the most distinguished jurists in American history.
