Nerd (tabletop games mostly). Girl dad. Accountant. He/him.
That takes talent for an organization known for corruption.

Features are neat, but Discord is going overboard with it. The entire client is bloating so, so fast, and injecting itself over top of games, instead of being a supplement for the gamer to those games.

Never had Persimmon pie. Now I'm intrigued.

And while Cherry can be good, it is really easy to make a REALLY bad cherry pie.

Toph wasn't in Korra, that was clearly some other blind metalbender...

I think things like the cabbage merchant, and the S3 pacing felt a lot different in an era when the show was released weekly. You watched the show in two days but it took the original audience three years.

Also, such a great show. Glad you enjoyed it! Korra is good too, but it hits a bit different.

Millie, the hat is perfect! If you're ever being chased, you can just let the hat fall off and your pursuer will slip on it Mario Kart-style and allow you a clean getaway.

Im reading through the series for the first time myself, right now. I recently started book 4. It's been a great read so far.

This isn't a very fun game. 😞

I only see "Reading the card explains the card" as a sarcastic answer any more, used only when reading the card obviously does NOT explain the card.

I don't play the game any longer, and I will definitely be buying some MTGxATLA.

I didn't think it was possible for a photo to give me more respect for wildland firefighters. Those photos tell quite the story

I think its Four Aces, not Acres

Absolute top marks for enthusiasm. Quite possibly my favorite cover of all time.

The only thing I don't like about your campaign is you are running for a very local position, and I live on the opposite coast so I can't vote for you.

Nah, tank probably has like three times as much

That certainly seems to be his ambition. And we've been watching him chase the Overton window recently.

"Let them eat cake" is about to take on a whole new meaning

Thank you for the answer. This definitely felt like the latter. I don't know the source's political leaning, but I'm also just generally skeptical of any article describing a plan for a fire as "controlled" because that's been used to try to attack forest management tools.

Is this a normal practice or something anybody would do? It feels... odd. Or is this just the journalist misunderstanding something? From the article: "... despite the blaze being lightning-caused, the federal government decided to manage it as a controlled burn "

White pawn from B2 to B3 would be checkmate.

Symbolism can be important, even if materially irrelevant. When all you do is irrelevant symbolism, though.... step aside.
