Thank you to everyone I ever played with, sold to, traded with, or shared a laugh over cards with. You shaped something beautiful in my life—and I’ll always carry that with me. And I’ll keep my favorite decks just in case

I’ll still run my online Magic store. I still care about the art and the culture. But as for playing—I’m done. Not out of anger, just peace. It’s time to move on.

So I’m stepping away. We’re buying a home, and my collection will help make that dream real. It’s bittersweet, but I’m choosing something lasting. That’s the kind of legacy Magic deserves in my life.

All these new players coming in? I don’t get the salt. I grew up in competitive Magic, and it was never like this. If you lost, you learned. Now it feels like no one can handle losing—or someone else’s deck doing its thing.

When I got into Commander, it was still competitive—but it was fun. Back then, people weren’t this salty. These days, it’s constant complaints, like nobody remembers this is a game built on interaction and variance.

I worked at a comic book shop, ran tourneys, sold cards, and built a community. Magic was never just a hobby—it was my rhythm, my escape, and something I poured decades of heart into.

Love you too, but wow… this is the pic you went with? Bold choice. 😂
