Rangers got absolute nothing in return for Kakko. I realize he’s never lived up to his high draft position, but this is disgraceful from Drury.
The Rangers traded Kaapo Kakko to the Kraken on Wednesday, getting back defenseman Will Borgen, a 2025 third-round pick and a 2025 sixth-round pick.
Kakko was a healthy scratch Sunday, but his comments did not factor into the team’s decision to move him ⤵️

Wonder if the Rangers dismantle more of this team now? Trouba has been pretty bad for a while now.
If it's not a trade for Trouba, believe he may be on waivers later today -- possibility that a team will have a claim ready to go as with Goodrow back in June.

Montas is pretty average at best. I don’t love this.
Frankie Montas and the Mets have agreed on a two-year, $34 million deal pending physical, per source. Deal includes an opt out after 2025.

It amazes me that Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, the Jets in general, were better before Aaron Rodgers got to town. The clown managed to make a bad franchise worse by importing all his guys and being toxic.
