I couldn't find him earlier when I searched, but he's on bsky and posted about this
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Meanwhile the last No Kings was the largest protest on the Mall since MLK gave his speech at the Lincoln Memorial. My neighborhood in NoVa has the state seal with trump replacing the king on the ground wheat-pasted everywhere. Punctuated equilibrium is for revolution too!

I live just outside of DC and constantly see people asking **US** why we aren't protesting at the whitehouse, like we don't have anything else going on in our lives.
