The Leafs by comparison only have 6 $4M players on their cap, and only 5 $4M players under contract for next year at this point. A lot of depth, that other good teams have, could be built out there.

Interesting angle for a story you could write, as everyone freaks out about Marner leaving and how you replace that. Look at a different roster building technique for “spreading out the wealth”

I know these are the lines everyone predicted out of the gate but they’re so weird and unbalanced. How does Domi and Laughton make sense together when they play opposite game’s? What is Holmberg doing on that 2nd line? How is Robertson & Kampf a viable combo in defensive minutes?
